On behalf of everyone at AUSSIE, we'd like to welcome you to our new website - a dynamic, resource-rich environment that we hope to build into a strong web community that pairs powerful online tools with our considerable experience as providers of educational professional development. When we first began working on this project in the summer of 2007, our goal was threefold: 1) creating a site where we could better showcase the depth and breadth of our consultants and our consultancy services, 2) growing an online user community where ideas on educational professional development could be discussed and shared, and 3) building a platform upon which we could begin providing online anytime educational services.

You'll see that we have a lot more information about our professional development services on our new site. We also have more information about our consultants - sample biographies, information about our internal professional development, and testimonials about the work we've done with our partner organizations. On top of all the content changes, you may notice the new logo and branding on our site. We were fortunate to work with a great team on this project. Our art director, Michael Evashevski, created a great exterior design over a functional, easy-to-use site that was constructed by our programmers at DTEK using the open source content management system (CMS) Drupal.

Both our Blogs and Educator Resources areas will focus on providing relevant and useful commentary and content to our online user community. Our goal is to use our site to share expertise, and ideas from our experienced consultants.. Expect to see a revolving door of bloggers posting on anything from the latest trends in literacy to a day in the life of a Math consultant working in the South Bronx. Our vision is that this blog will be an engaging space for 21st century discourse. With that said, we hope you view this is an invitation to join the conversation as we strive towards building a community of learners.
